Today we will be having new cameras installed around the playground. Please be patient and respectful of our crews as they work by the pavilion and maintenance room. Please make sure to supervise your children so they are not in the way of the crews. We appreciate your patience.
Our new controller has been installed. Over the next week we will be adjusting settings and fine tuning how the system operates. This may cause downtime on the system. We appreciate everyone’s patience.
How it works: Once the actuator button is pushed the system is setup to run for 4 minutes like it has during most of the summer. When the water stops the system will not operate for 15 minutes, even if the button makes a beep when pushed.
Why does this happen? The down time in the sequence was programmed to allow our water tank to fill so we do not have several hours where the splash pad is off while it refills.
Here it is again:
Push actuator button and the system will spray water for 4 minutes
Once the water stops flowing, the system will count down 15 minutes until it’s ready to push again
Once 15 minutes have passed, the button will be ready to be pushed for another 4 minutes of water features
Repeat
The future: For now this is our new sequence. Our goal is to wire in a light with signage that when the system is ready to run, the light will come on as an indicator. This will hopefully be integrated into the system before the closing of the splash pad September 30th.
Pro Tip: If you arrive and you push the button and nothing happens, wait 15 minutes and try again and the system should operate.
Thank you
