What was expected to be a 6 week project has now surpassed the 6 month mark. It has been discovered that new splash pad components are incompatible with our current pump, and it may be necessary to install an additional electrical panel. Engineers from the product manufacturer and the park district's hired engineers are working to develop a new plan, aiming to bring this project to a successful conclusion.
On Tuesday, July 15th there will be crews coming out to finish filling the cracks on the tennis courts. We kindly ask when the crews do come (could be at any time), that you leave the tennis court area so they can work on getting it done. The courts may then be zip tied closed if more time is needed to dry. If they are zip tied, we will open the courts up when it is safe to. It will probably be latest Wednesday afternoon that it will be re opened. We appreciate your patience during this time as we make our tennis courts looking great again. :)
