The splash pad area is now accessible following the removal of the construction fence. Residents can take advantage of the new drinking station, designed for both humans and dogs, as well as additional seating and picnic tables. Please note that the outdoor restroom will be available through September 30th and the Porta potty will remain year round. The Splash Pad renovation faced an unexpected challenge, which postponed its completion.

Renovation efforts will continue during the off-season, aiming for a 2026 reopening.

The LBCPD Splash pad is still under construction. There are internal operations of the maintenance building that are holding up the re-opening of our seasonal splash pad. The park district board members had a meeting with the engineers to find a solution to make the updated splash pad operate. Watch the Facebook and website for all updates.
